COVID-19 UPDATE

Services Announcement

From the 15th of June 2020 I will be re-opening a carefully selected range of services. These will be on a one to one basis with no more than two people from one household per dog to attend. I will also be opening a very limited number of bookings for private home visits where a suitable outdoor space is available. Strict measures will be in place to ensure the highest standard of safety is upheld by both myself and attendees.

Online workshops, courses and video consultations will continue to run as these are the safest and only option for those in the ‘vulnerable persons’ group. Please visit www.carmarthendogtraining.co.uk/book-online to view options.

All in-person services (except home visits) will take place at my private outdoor training arena, just off the B4299 near Meidrim. These sessions are available to those able to travel while abiding by the travel restrictions issued by Welsh Government. Please check the https://gov.wales/coronavirus website for the latest advice on traveling.

Services offered as of June 15th 2020;

  • Obedience Training Lessons (for lead walking, recall, focus training, etc.) - £35 for one hour session with one dog, follow up sessions £25.

  • Dog-Dog Reactivity Lessons (for dogs who are fearful of other dogs or react by barking, lunging or growling) - £45 for one hour session, follow up sessions £35.

  • Dog-Dog Socialising Sessions (for dog friendly dogs who would benefit from group play, this is offered on a case-by-case basis) - £6 for half hour session per dog.

  • Agility Lessons (for those who have attended agility classes with me previously) - £15 per half hour.

  • Training Consultations at your Home (for those who need help with training at home or are unable to travel while abiding by government guidelines) - £65 for a 90 minute session plus travel expenses.

Sessions held at my arena can be combined, for example you you book half hour of agility followed by half hour of socialisation.

Please visit www.carmarthendogtraining.co.uk/covid-19services to apply for a service and be put on the waiting list. Priority will be given to current clients or those that had bookings prior to lockdown.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Sessions are payable online and no cash or cheques will be accepted for hygiene reasons.

  • As with all bookings these are non refundable but you can be transferred to another time slot if required.

  • Some clients may benefit from purchasing online Pre-Session training to get the most out of their ‘in-person’ training session.

  • I withhold the right to alter the price, availability or type of services offered.

  • Session structure and availability is subject to change as government advice is released.

All attendees will be required to follow the following rules;

  • Only one household can attend a session, multiple dogs from the same household are welcome.

  • You MUST tell me if you have been unwell/in contact with anyone unwell in the last 14 days so we can postpone the session.

  • Clients are required to wear a face covering to the session.

  • A minimum of 2 meters must be maintained, 5 meters is ideal.

  • You will be required to bring your own equipment and not handle any training equipment at the venue.

  • Please bring your own hand sanitiser and use it before and after the session.

  • Please take all your own rubbish home with you, including poo bags.

  • No ‘vulnerable persons’ are permitted to attend.

  • As much as I would like to, I am unable to touch your dogs and you are unable to touch mine.

I cannot thank you enough for your support and patience during these difficult times. Please get in touch if you have any queries.
