Teaching leave it through impulse control exercises.
Leave it is another potentially life saving skill if you dog tries to eat something harmful. This exercise is about teaching the dog to control their own impulses and make good decisions. The focus on these exercises is to get the dog to think and make the decision to leave the food by themselves.
