Service Description
Our Dogs On Tour Walks offer a safe, structured and welcoming environment for you to practice the skills you've been learning in our group classes and private lessons while exploring beautiful locations across Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire. Held every other Thursday at 11am, each tour takes place at a different location, giving dogs the opportunity to experience a variety of environments, distractions and adventures alongside like-minded owners and dogs. These walks are designed to help dogs develop calmness, neutrality and engagement around other dogs while still enjoying the freedom, structure and fun of group adventures. Here’s What You Can Expect ✔ Put your training into action in real-life situations ✔ Explore different walking routes and environments each tour ✔ Structured socialisation in a controlled and supportive setting ✔ Walk alongside other dogs while teaching neutrality and calm behaviour ✔ Guidance and support from experienced trainers throughout the walk ✔ Access to an exclusive WhatsApp group with tour dates, updates and meeting locations Our trained dogs may also attend to help guide and support the behaviour of dogs still learning, helping create a calm and balanced group environment. Important Information 🦮 Dogs and owners should have a basic level of obedience before attending 🦮 Dogs should be comfortable around both people and other dogs 🦮 Only dogs with a reliable recall and neutral disposition towards other dogs may be allowed off lead 🦮 All dogs must be approved before joining the group and added to the WhatsApp group 🦮 Walks may include mud, wet conditions, uneven terrain, steep paths and slippery surfaces, so suitable clothing and footwear is essential 🦮 Walks typically last between 60–90 minutes and will run in most weather conditions 🦮 These walks are ideal for owners wanting real-world training opportunities, structured socialisation and enjoyable adventures with their dogs in a safe and supportive setting. 🦮 Spaces are limited to maintain a quality experience for both dogs and owners, so please get in touch to confirm whether Dogs On Tour is suitable for you and your dog. Cancellation Policy
Terms & Conditions By placing a booking, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. Completion of the booking process and acceptance of the terms and conditions forms your contract with Amy Millward Dog Training. The terms and conditions are in effect as soon as you have booked any service offered by Amy Millward Dog Training. Amy Millward Dog Training reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue or instructor of services offered. I try to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes this is unavoidable, particularly with changes in the weather meaning we have to cancel or postpone a session. If we know in advance that the weather will not be suitable we will let you know, however, often the weather can be very changeable & unpredictable. If a booking is cancelled due to the weather, we will let everyone know who has booked in by email as soon as we can, at least an hour before the start of your class. We will then reschedule all the bookings to an alternative date. Amy Millward Dog Training will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from cancellations or amendments to the services offered. Amy Millward Dog Training holds no responsibility for injury or damage to you, your dog, third parties or property. Amy Millward Dog Training hold no responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or property while at the training premises. All under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Booking Please note that your booking is only secured once payment in full has been received. It´s “first come first serve”. Amy Millward Dog Training reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event/course/workshop/seminar/service. The number of participants is limited unless listed differently. You can pay Amy Millward Dog Training via direct bank transfer, cheque or cash. By Booking you are agreeing to be bound to these terms and conditions. After signing up for a course you will receive a confirmation via email (so please ensure we have your correct email address) or Facebook message. Amy Millward Dog Training has the right to refuse to train individuals or their dogs. Payment Regarding booking for any services provided by Amy Millward Dog Training, payment is expected immediately.
